Animals are a major feature of Greenslate Farm and serve as a big attraction to many of our visitors. They have pampered lives kept to as high a welfare standard as we can.  Eggs are available in the shop.

Our animals contribute to the practical upkeep of the farm. Sheep keep grass cut, goats clear weeds, pigs plough the ground and chickens clear and fertilise vegetable beds when we have finished being harvested. It allows the animals to enjoy their natural behaviour whilst benefiting the farm. They are cared for and respected.
